American Innovation Act: Science Research Funding (2025-2034)
This Act, cited as the 'American Innovation Act', authorizes and appropriates funds for key federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Energy's Office of Science, Department of Defense science and technology programs, NIST, and NASA, for fiscal years 2025 through 2034 and beyond. The Act exempts these appropriations from sequestration (automatic budget cuts) and sets specific funding amounts, which are to be adjusted by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) after fiscal year 2034.
