National Seed and Restoration Center: Protecting and Planting Native Species

This Act establishes the National Interagency Seed and Restoration Center to coordinate research, development, and distribution of native plant seeds. This means better environmental protection, faster ecosystem recovery after disasters like wildfires or floods, and support for farmers and businesses producing native seeds, leading to healthier and more resilient local environments. The Center will also collaborate with Indian Tribes to protect their traditional medicinal and food plants.
