Expanding Job Training Funds Access for Young Workers.

This bill expands the use of Individual Training Accounts (ITAs), which are funds used to pay for job training and vocational courses. The change allows youth aged 16 to 21, including those still in school and those who have left, to access these training funds in the same way adults and dislocated workers currently do. This provides young people with greater financial support to acquire necessary workforce skills.
Key points
Youth aged 16-21 (in-school) and all out-of-school youth gain access to Individual Training Accounts (ITAs).
These accounts can be used to pay for approved vocational training and courses, boosting employment readiness.
