Eliminating cost-sharing for behavioral health care under TRICARE Reserve Select.

This Act eliminates all cost-sharing requirements (deductibles and copayments) for behavioral health care services for members of the Selected Reserve covered by the TRICARE Reserve Select insurance plan. This change allows reservists to access necessary mental health care without out-of-pocket expenses, significantly improving access to treatment and psychological support.
Key points
No out-of-pocket costs: Selected Reserve members using TRICARE Reserve Select will no longer pay cost-shares or copayments for behavioral health care.
Improved mental health access: Eliminating financial barriers directly facilitates reservists' access to behavioral health treatment.
The change applies specifically to behavioral health services covered under TRICARE Reserve Select.
