Moms Support Act: New website and portal for pregnancy resources and alternatives.

This Act requires the Department of Health and Human Services to establish a public website (life.gov) and an interactive portal. The goal is to provide pregnant women with comprehensive, tailored information on available federal, state, and private resources, including financial aid, healthcare, childcare, and alternatives to abortion. The portal is designed to help citizens find local support based on their ZIP Code, but explicitly excludes entities that promote or perform abortions.
Key points
New life.gov website: A central resource for information on support for pregnant and postpartum women, including mental health, childcare, and material assistance.
Tailored Portal: Users will receive customized information about resources available in their local area (based on ZIP Code).
Exclusion of Entities: Resources listed cannot include any entity that performs, induces, refers for, or counsels in favor of abortions.
Risk and Alternatives Information: The website must provide comprehensive information on alternatives to abortion and the risks and complications associated with abortion.
Maternal Mental Health Hotline: The existing hotline must disseminate information about the new website and offer 24/7 live chat features.
