Uniform Flag Display Standards in House of Representatives Facilities

This resolution establishes consistent rules for which flags can be displayed in buildings and facilities used by the House of Representatives. It aims to ensure uniformity and order in the presentation of national and official symbols. For citizens, this means that only specific, approved flags will be visible in public areas associated with the House of Representatives.
Key points
Specifies that only the U.S. flag, House of Representatives flags, state flags, military service flags, POW/MIA flags, tribal flags, and flags of visiting foreign dignitaries may be displayed in House facilities.
Excludes individual Members' personal office spaces from these rules, allowing Members to display other flags there.
The House Administration Committee and the Sergeant at Arms will oversee compliance and implement these rules within 30 days.
