Easier Voting for Unaffiliated Voters and Ban on Non-Citizen Voting.

This act aims to facilitate the participation of unaffiliated voters in federal, state, and local primary elections, while simultaneously prohibiting non-citizens from voting in any taxpayer-funded elections. Unaffiliated citizens will gain greater access to the electoral process, and states complying with these requirements will receive financial support.
Key points
Unaffiliated voters can vote in federal, state, and local primary elections, but only in one party's primary.
Information about unaffiliated voters cannot be shared with political parties or used for political/commercial purposes.
Non-U.S. citizens are prohibited from voting in any taxpayer-funded elections, whether federal, state, or local.
States that comply with these rules will receive grants to cover the costs of enabling unaffiliated voters to participate.
