Secure Space Act: Prohibiting Licenses for Covered Equipment Providers

The Secure Space Act of 2025 amends the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019 to prohibit the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from granting licenses or U.S. market access for satellite systems controlled by entities that provide covered communications equipment. This prohibition applies to geostationary and non-geostationary orbit satellite systems and authorizations for earth stations. The FCC is required to issue rules implementing this section within one year of the Act's enactment.
