Rural Broadband Modernization: New Grants and Loans
This act aims to increase access to high-speed internet in rural areas by offering grants, loans, and loan guarantees for infrastructure construction and modernization. This will provide residents and businesses in these areas with better connectivity, facilitating work, education, and access to online services. Priority will be given to areas without internet access or with very slow connections.
Key points

Prioritized support for rural communities without internet access or with very slow connections (below 25/3 Mbps).
Possibility of 100% funding for construction costs in very low-density areas (fewer than 7 households per square mile).
