Repeal of Green Energy Tax Subsidies and EV Credits

This bill eliminates nearly all federal tax credits and subsidies related to renewable energy, electric vehicles, and energy efficiency currently codified in the Internal Revenue Code. For citizens, this means losing the ability to deduct costs for purchasing solar panels, electric cars, or making energy-saving home improvements, thereby increasing the effective cost of these investments. Additionally, the act repeals the federal tax on petroleum.
Key points
Elimination of tax credits for purchasing new and used electric vehicles (EVs) and for installing alternative fuel refueling property.
Repeal of residential tax credits for clean energy systems (e.g., solar panels) and energy-efficient home improvements.
