Ban on Gender-Based Pricing Differences for Products and Services.

This law aims to eliminate the practice known as the "Pink Tax," which results in higher prices for products and services marketed toward women. Citizens will be assured they won't pay more for functionally identical goods and services, regardless of color or marketing. These rules are intended to directly increase household savings.
Key points
Prohibits charging different prices for substantially similar products and services if the difference is based solely on the gender of the intended user.
A difference in product coloring is explicitly not considered a sufficient reason for a price difference.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and State Attorneys General can sue violating companies and seek compensation for affected consumers.
