Commemorative Coins Honoring WWII Home Front Women

This act introduces new commemorative coins to honor American women who contributed to the Home Front during World War II, known as "Rosie the Riveter." Sales of these coins will help maintain a historical park and support educational programs related to their legacy. Citizens can purchase these coins, thereby supporting important historical and educational causes.
Key points
New commemorative coins will be minted in $5 (gold), $1 (silver), and half-dollar (clad) denominations, available starting in 2028.
A portion of the proceeds from coin sales will go towards maintaining the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park and supporting educational and commemorative programs.
The coins will be legal tender, but their primary purpose is for collection and commemoration of an important part of U.S. history.
