Alaska: Land Returned to Native Villages, No More Forced Conveyances

This new law changes how land is managed for Alaska Native communities. Village Corporations are no longer required to give land to the State for future city development. If land was already given and no city was formed, it can now be returned to the Village Corporation. This gives more control over land back to Native communities.
