Equal Access for Firearm Businesses to SBA Financial Aid

This act aims to ensure that businesses involved in the firearms industry are not discriminated against when seeking financial assistance from the Small Business Administration (SBA). This means manufacturers, retailers, shooting ranges, or trade associations will have the same opportunities for loans or guarantees as other businesses, provided they meet general eligibility criteria. The goal is to ensure fair treatment for all legal businesses.
Key points
The Small Business Administration (SBA) cannot deny financial assistance to businesses solely because they are involved with firearms.
This applies to manufacturers, sellers, distributors of firearms and ammunition, as well as shooting ranges, firearm training entities, and trade associations.
These businesses will be evaluated based on the same criteria as other enterprises applying for SBA support.
