This act aims to include Peru in the list of countries whose nationals are eligible for E-1 and E-2 nonimmigrant trader and investor visas in the U.S. This means Peruvian citizens could more easily enter the United States for business purposes, provided the Peruvian government offers similar status to U.S. nationals.
