Service Members Can Now Sue Government for Military Medical Malpractice.

This law grants active service members and their families the right to sue the U.S. government for injuries or death resulting from negligent medical care received at military treatment facilities. This overturns previous restrictions, allowing service members to seek compensation through the courts. Importantly, any compensation received will not reduce existing benefits from Veterans Affairs or military life insurance.
