This act aims to create a public website and portal providing expecting mothers with tailored information on available federal, state, and local resources. This includes health, financial, and educational support, as well as information on abortion alternatives and associated risks, empowering citizens to make informed decisions.
Key points
A new website, life.gov, will be launched with a comprehensive list of resources for pregnant women, including mental health counseling and pre- and postpartum services.
An interactive portal will provide personalized information on available resources based on user questions and ZIP code.
The portal will include information on alternatives to abortion, abortion risks, and child development from conception.
Support will cover financial aid, housing, food, childcare, work opportunities, and education.
