This Act aims to simplify the process for families using Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) to move to a different jurisdiction without losing their assistance. The original housing agency must continue funding the voucher in the new location unless the cost of rental assistance increases by more than 10% compared to the previous area. This change enhances residential mobility for housing assistance recipients.
