GRAS Oversight and Transparency Act

This bill directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a board to review Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) designations made by manufacturers prior to 2000. The board will evaluate the validity of these designations, and the Secretary may revoke them if safety is not demonstrated.
