Alexandra's Law: Stricter Penalties for Fentanyl-Related Drug Offenses

This act introduces new rules for individuals convicted of drug offenses resulting in death. Courts will be required to issue warnings about the lethality of illicit substances, especially those containing fentanyl, and prior convictions can be used as evidence in homicide cases. The aim is to increase awareness of risks and impose harsher penalties for trafficking deadly drugs.
