This act aims to protect the personal information of individuals under the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program. This means that information submitted in DACA applications will be shielded from disclosure to immigration agencies and law enforcement, except in strictly defined circumstances. As a result, program participants can feel more secure knowing their data will not be used against them in matters unrelated to the program.
