Barring the President from Filing Tort Claims Against the Federal Government.

This bill amends federal law to prevent the sitting President of the United States from filing tort claims (claims for civil wrongs or damages) against the federal government under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). This restriction also applies to individuals whose claims are pending when they assume the presidency. This change does not affect the ability of ordinary citizens to sue the federal government.
