Repealing FMLA limits: Full family leave for spouses at the same employer.
This Act eliminates the rule that required spouses working for the same employer to share a single combined limit for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) time off. If passed, each spouse will be entitled to their own full FMLA allowance, such as 12 weeks for the birth of a child. This provides families with greater flexibility and more time for caregiving duties.
