New Pilot Program to Combat Cargo Theft with Advanced Technology

This Act establishes a pilot project to evaluate the effectiveness of technologies aimed at combatting cargo theft during transit and at transportation hubs. The TSA Administrator will provide grants to eligible consortia, consisting of private entities and law enforcement, to deploy and assess these solutions.
