Expanding Deportation for Fraud and Mandatory Revocation of Naturalized Citizenship

This Act expands the grounds for deporting non-citizens by including any conviction for fraud, regardless of the financial loss amount. Crucially, it mandates that courts convicting naturalized US citizens of deportable crimes (including fraud) must revoke their citizenship at the time of conviction. These denaturalization rules apply retroactively to fraud offenses committed on or after September 30, 1996.
