Expanding Sloan Canyon Conservation Area and Authorizing Lateral Pipeline.
This law expands the Sloan Canyon Conservation Area by approximately 9,300 acres through a boundary adjustment. It grants the Southern Nevada Water Authority a right-of-way to construct and operate the Horizon lateral water pipeline and related infrastructure. The pipeline construction must not permanently adversely affect conservation area surface resources and must not be located through designated wilderness areas.
