Restricting Event Security Funding for Sanctuary Jurisdictions

This bill cuts federal security funding for major events in cities and states that do not cooperate with federal immigration authorities. These funds will be redirected to ICE for immigration enforcement, including arrests and deportations.
Key points
Jurisdictions labeled as 'sanctuary jurisdictions' will lose federal grants and resources for securing large-scale events.
Withheld funds will be reallocated to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for enforcement and removal operations.
Priority for the reallocated funds will be given to the arrest and deportation of criminal noncitizens and suspected terrorists.
At least 50 percent of the redirected money must be used specifically for border-related enforcement and removals.
