Small Business Liberation 2.0 Act: Tariff Exemptions and Price Gouging Prevention

This bill exempts small businesses from specific trade duties and requires refunds for those already paid. It also prohibits large companies from using these duties as an excuse to unfairly hike prices for consumers.
Key points
Small businesses are exempt from certain import duties imposed by the President.
Refunds for duties already paid by small firms must be issued within 90 days.
Large companies cannot raise prices beyond the actual cost increase caused by the duty.
Consumers can report suspected price gouging to a new government reporting system.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will monitor market prices and enforce these rules.
