Ending Taxpayer Funding for Presidential Campaigns

This act terminates the use of taxpayer money to fund presidential election campaigns. Funds previously allocated for this purpose will now be transferred to reduce the national deficit. This means citizens will no longer indirectly financially support presidential candidates' campaigns.
